Mahindra has updated the pricing of its popular SUV, the Scorpio N, making the automatic variant more accessible to a wider audience. The company has now introduced the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with the Z4 trim. The Z4 petrol automatic is priced at ₹17.39 lakh, while the diesel automatic comes in at ₹17.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Previously, the automatic gearbox was only available from the Z6 trim onwards, starting at ₹18.91 lakh.

Significant Price Difference from Z6 Variants

This move marks a notable reduction in cost. The new Z4 petrol automatic is approximately ₹1.05 lakh more affordable than the Z6 petrol automatic, while the Z4 diesel automatic undercuts the Z6 diesel automatic by ₹1.67 lakh. These price cuts make the Z4 automatic trims a better value proposition for customers looking for a feature-rich SUV with an automatic gearbox.

For reference, the Z4 manual variants are priced at ₹15.77 lakh for the Z4 E petrol, ₹16.21 lakh for the Z4 E diesel, and ₹18.35 lakh for the Z4 E 4×4 diesel (all ex-showroom prices).

New Z4 Automatic Pricing (Ex-showroom):

  • Z4 Petrol AT: ₹17.39 lakh
  • Z4 Diesel AT: ₹17.86 lakh
