Hyundai is all set to launch the second-generation 2025 Venue on November 4. The popular sub-compact SUV has been spotted testing multiple times, giving us a clear idea of the major updates it brings in design, interior, and features. While the standard Venue is confirmed, the launch timing of the Venue N Line variant remains uncertain. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Venue before its official debut.

Design

The 2025 Hyundai Venue adopts a boxier and more muscular look compared to the current model. At the front, it features split LED headlights housed in squared-off casings, along with prominent C-motif DRLs. The new rectangular grille draws inspiration from the Hyundai Alcazar, giving the SUV a premium touch.

From the side, the Venue flaunts chunkier wheel arches and redesigned alloy wheels that enhance its robust appearance. At the rear, the SUV continues with connected LED taillights, redesigned to complement the refreshed styling. Early spy shots have also hinted at the sporty Venue N Line variant, though its launch is yet to be confirmed.

Interior

Inside, Hyundai has given the Venue a complete cabin makeover. The highlight is the dual 10.25-inch display setup, including a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster, similar to the Creta. The centre AC vents are now positioned below the screens, and the centre console features rotary dials for media and buttons for climate control.

Additional updates include a new steering wheel, auto-dimming IRVM, and even a dashcam, making the interior more modern and tech-friendly.

Features & Safety

The 2025 Venue comes loaded with premium features. Alongside the dual displays, the SUV is expected to offer a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats. Existing amenities like a 4-way powered driver’s seat, wireless phone charger, and auto AC with rear vents are likely to continue.

On the safety front, the Venue is expected to get six airbags as standard, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a more advanced Level-2 ADAS suite, an upgrade over the current Level-1 system. Additional features such as front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera could further enhance safety.

Powertrain

The 2025 Venue is expected to retain the current engine lineup:

  • 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol: 83 PS, 114 Nm, 5-speed manual
  • 1.0-litre turbo-petrol: 120 PS, 172 Nm, 6-speed manual / 7-speed DCT
  • 1.5-litre diesel: 116 PS, 250 Nm, 6-speed manual (with possible 6-speed torque converter automatic like Kia Sonet)

This combination ensures the Venue continues to offer options for both city commuting and highway driving.

Expected Price & Rivals

The current Hyundai Venue is priced between Rs 7.26 lakh and Rs 12.32 lakh (ex-showroom). The new-generation model is expected to carry a slight premium over these prices.

In terms of competition, the 2025 Venue will continue to rival popular sub-compact SUVs like the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
